What is the Wildcat Way?

The Wildcat Way is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports system.  It is a research based and school wide system used to help improve school climate and behavior in an effort to create a safer and more effective school.

How does Wildcat Way work?

Teachers at Hadley reward students for demonstrating positive behavior with Cat Cash.  Students can save up their Cat Cash and purchase a variety of items including pop, candy and other prizes on Fridays during lunch.  We also have school wide celebrations every one to two months to bring the school together, celebrate success and promote school pride.

What is Cat Cash?

Cat Cash is used to reinforce positive behavior. When a student is seen fulfilling a Wildcat Way expectation, he/she may be given Cat Cash by a staff member. Once a student earns Cat Cash, he/she signs the card and drops it into one of the Cat Cash drawing boxes. Later, if the student's name is pulled from the box, the student will win a prize. Students may also save up their Cat Cash and turn them in for prizes at the Friday store.
